I know, this is obvious. But we do have conformation about this (potentialy) being true with this dialogue where Juno refers to Mei as her aunt. With Jiayi being Mei's close friend it makes sense for Juno to call Mei her aunt.
It'd be fun for Juno and Mei to have some close connection like that. given Mei's extremely depressing backstory.
I can't wait to see future interactions between the two, and their actual link, but it'll have to wait for Juno's origin story since we don't even know if Jiayi is linked to Juno at all, since Juno hasn't mentioned Jiayi and the photo in her pod was Mei with a woman, who people only speculate is Jiayi.
