A Great Day is the 14th animated short for Overwatch, and the fifth to tie-in with Overwatch 2. It premiered as the leadup to Season 8, and the release of Mauga. Its events take place not long after Ironclad.

Description

While on a mission with fellow Talon members Sombra and Reaper, Mauga's methods come into question.

• This is the first short where it features a reworked Sombra: Using a translocator in a short distance due to an earlier translocator destroyed during the mission.
• The whole story was told in Sombra's point of view to Doomfist.
• The title drop was said by Mauga after he drops from the plane.
• The short takes sometime after Ironclad. As Sombra stated that the Command Ship never made it back from Gothenburg.
