Aurora was the first omnic to achieve sentience. She went on a pilgrimage of self-discovery in India, which included Suravasa as her first stop. At the end of her journey, she had transcended and granted sentience to all omnics.
The temple in Suravasa honors her, and many of the Shambali faith make the pilgrimage so that they too may be enlightened.
