Battle for Olympus Deathmatch is a game mode in Overwatch 2 that is sometimes available in Arcade. The game mode was introduced with the Battle for Olympus limited-time event in Season 2 and returned in Season 4, during Symmetra's Seeds of Order Event.[1] At the end of the first event, the hero with the highest number of kills overall from the event got their statue placed on the Ilios Ruins arena map to commemorate their victory.

Overview[ | ]

"Champions of Olympus battle for immortal glory."

Battle for Olympus is a Deathmatch game mode with a twist. The mode features seven heroes that get special powers when they activate their divine ultimates that stack new effects on top of their abilities. In addition to the divine powers, the maps feature overhealth (+15, stacking up to +120) and ultimate charge (~30%) pickups in predetermined locations. The hit points and abilities of some heroes are adjusted.

Battle for Olympus is available in 8 player FFA (free for all) and 4v4 Team Deathmatch formats. FFA is played first to 20 kills and Team Battle for Olympus first team to 25. Both formats have a time limit of 10 minutes.
