“ | Perfection is overrated. Our strength lies in our differences, in our compassion, our willingness to grow. I have brought nature and technology together to create a new possibility, and I will heal our world. | „ |

Biolight is a variant of hard-light, developed by Niran Pruksamanee.
Background[ | ]
“ | Biolight has such potential for medicine and agriculture. Sadly, Vishkar agrees. They want their hands on it, and they're willing to cut mine off to get it. Sounds about right. |

Biolight is a living and growing variation of hard-light fused with plantlife.[1] Biolight, while unstable, creates organic material that can heal terrible wounds in the blink of an eye.[2] Pruksamanee is known for using biolight flowers to heal allies.[3]
Biolight has great potential in the fields of medicine and agriculture, but given its self-propagating nature, it could be deadly in the wrong hands.[4]
History[ | ]
Biolight stems from the original hard-light design, before the Vishkar Corporation clamped down on the technology. Combining this design with his fascination with botany, biolight was created by Niran Pruksamanee while at the Architech Academy.[2] However, it was unstable in its early form.[3]
While Pruksamanee dreamed of sharing biolight with the world, Vishkar claimed ownership of the technology, and demanded that Pruksamanee hand it over. Refusing, Pruksanamee fled the Architech Academy with the nascent technology and arrived at the Atlantic Arcology. There, free from the laws of any nation, Pruksanamee continued to stabilize and perfect biolight, and intended to use it to renew the world's connection with nature and help those in need.[2] Aware of the risks associated with biolight, Pruksamanee refused to sell the technology.[4]
Trivia[ | ]
- Most, if not all of Lifeweaver's abilities stem from biolight.
- The idea for biolight stems from the development of Lifeweaver. Artists came up with the idea of hard-light flowers that he would use to heal allies. Lorewise, this was further developed into biolight. The artists wanted Lifeweaver's constructs to feel unique; to not just be hard-light plants.[3]
