Carrie is a resident of San Diego, and attendee of the University of California. Her initial focus was on popular culture and creative writing. However, in the period after Overwatch's disbandment, she pursued a doctorate degree in archeology and anthropology. Between studying, she worked with the Wayfinder Society, participating in various archeological expeditions around the world.
She was chosen to compile the Zurich Archive given her experience in pop culture and creative writing. This made her a natural fit for the team's outreach and interviews.[1]
