The Florida Mayhem is the team representing the state of Florida, USA, and the Cities of Miami and Orlando, in the Overwatch League. The league spot is owned by Ben Spoont, CEO and Co-Founder of Misfits.

Timeline

2017

• July 12th - Franchise is officially announced, as part of the first seven franchises of the Overwatch League.
• November 2nd - The franchise name is officially revealed. The Florida Mayhem announce their logo and branding, as well as their roster.

2018

• February 1st - Zappis is announced to have joined the team as a mid season signing, he will begin playing in Stage 2 of the Inaugural Season of the Overwatch League.
• February 12th - r2der joins the team as Assistant Coach.
• February 13th - Sayaplayer and aWesomeGuy join the team.
• September 5th - The Florida Mayhem release CWoosH, Logix, Zebbosai, Manneten, Zuppeh and zappis.
