The country was a battlefield during the Omnic Crisis. The German military's Mountain Infantry Battalion and the Crusaders successfully repelled an omnic attack on Eichenwalde.[1] The battle was part of a larger omnic push towards Stuttgart. Around the time of the battle, Berlin was put on its higest alert level.[2]
