The Great Wall is a structure running along the coasts of Portugal and Spain.

The Great Wall's construction was overseen by Cláudio and Hector Martins, to protect Portugal from the twin issues of climate change and sea level rise. The Wall was constructed out of durovidro.[1] The Martins' team constructed a functioning prototype to massive success, which led to the expansion of the Wall.[2]
However, when the Omnic Crisis began, the Portuguese Army mobilized along the Great Wall, where they maintained a defense against omnic forces.[1] The attacking omnics were annihilated by concentrated fire.[2]
Cláudio convinced the Portuguese government to make a defensive alliance with Spain. The Portuguese and Spanish armies would combine their strength, in exchange for the expansion of the Great Wall from the coast of Portugal to the shared coast with Spain, extending it to the Strait of Gibraltar.[1] The combined Portuguese and Spanish forces held Anubis's armies at bay for a year, with only minimal casualties. Afterwards, Anubis never attempted a subsequent amphibious assault on either country.[2]
The Great Wall remains standing in the current day.[1]
