Halloween Terror is an annual seasonal event. The event has exclusive cosmetics, and an exclusive brawl, Junkenstein's Revenge.

Junkenstein's Revenge[ | ]

Junkenstein's Revenge is a 4-player PvE brawl based on the tie-in comic Junkenstein. The Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), and the Soldier (Soldier: 76) face off against Dr. Junkenstein and his zomnic creations on a modified Eichenwalde. It has three difficulties.
Over the years new heroes and features have been added:
- In the 2017 version, there is a new Endless mode, and The Countess (Widowmaker), The Monk (Zenyatta), The Swordsman (Genji), and The Viking (Torbjörn) are also selectable.
- In the 2018 version, The Will-O’-Wisp (Tracer) and The Shieldmaiden (Brigitte) are selectable.
- In the 2020 version, brand new challenges have been added to both Junkenstein’s Revenge and its Endless Mode. The Outlaw (Ashe) and The Renegade (Baptiste) are selectable.
Wrath of the Bride[ | ]

Wrath of the Bride is a brand new PvE brawl released in 2022 to coincide with the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror event and serves as a direct sequel to Junkenstein’s Revenge. The Sleuth (Sojourn), The Butcher (Junker Queen), The Outlaw (Ashe), and The Fortune Teller (Kiriko) face off against the grieving Bride of Junkenstein, who plans to get revenge, following her love’s death.
Trials of Sanctuary[ | ]

Trials of Sanctuary is a Diablo-themed co-op PvE mission released in Season 7 of Overwatch 2 as a part of the Halloween Terror 2023 event and the season's theme.

It's possible to get it while emoting on Reinhardt as well. Locate the door where zomnics would spawn in Junkenstein's Revenge. The player needs to crouch to get into the room, and only upon getting near/on the cauldron will the Challenge be completed. | |
| Crouch at the lantern for 6 seconds whilst the Ghost is active in Wrath of the Bride. | 1000 XP | After the Unstoppable Ghost spawns, continue going foward. On the left, in the first room with the zomnic, there will be a lantern in the ground. Crouch by it while the ghost is active. It's best to do this with Kiriko to pocket the player, or Junker Queen since she has more HP. | |
