Hero Mastery: Gauntlet Event was a limited-time event in Overwatch 2 to celebrate the introduction of the new game mode, Hero Mastery Gauntlet. Having launched in Season 9: Cosmic Crisis, the event ran from March 12 to March 25, 2024. It featured limited-time challenges related to the Hero Mastery: Gauntlet mode that rewarded players with 1 Victory pose, 1 Name Card, 1 Weapon Charm, 1 Souvenir, 1 Spray and 1 Player Icon.

Hero Mastery Gauntlet was a 3 player co-op mode. You could play with players or AI. It featured tower defense-style gameplay, where players defend multiple towers from oncoming waves of training bots. It coul be played on four difficulties: Normal, Hard, Expert, Legendary. Players could use any hero.
