de Kuiper's experiment on the space station
The International Space Station is a space station situated in low Earth orbit. It was here that Doctor Siebren de Kuiper conducted a gravitic experiment. The result ended in disaster, with a black hole briefly forming, costing de Kuiper his sanity.[1]

The International Space Station is a real-world space station, though is set to be decommissioned in 2030—well before the timeframe of Overwatch ("sixty years from the present day").
