===The Red Promise===
Jiayi while working with [[Lucheng Interstellar]] was sent on a secret mission to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars Mars], in hopes of expanding the reach of humanity, called Project Red Promise. Over the course of many years, Jiayi worked with her colleagues on Mars to expand their base and terraform the planet. The plan was for them to kickstart the project, with more personnel and supplies arriving later into the project.

Whilst on Mars, Jiayi birthed [[Juno]], the first and only Martian. Jiayi raised Juno alongside her colleagues on Mars, where they treated her as one of their own, celebrating her birthdays and helping teach her. Over the course of Juno's time on Mars, Jiayi and her colleagues pitched in to gift Juno her own spacesuit, giving various upgrades to it over time. 

Project Red Promise had been affecting the Martian atmosphere, creating more intense and violent storms. After a while, the base lost contact with [[Lucheng Interstellar]] back on Earth. During this time, Jiayi and her colleagues tried protecting Juno from the fear and anxiety of the situation, knowing they had limited time. 

After months of no contact, Jiayi and her colleagues built a ship for [[Juno]], in hopes she could go back to Earth. Whilst hesitent at first, Juno ultimately agreed to leave with the data Jiayi and her colleagues gathered on the martian climate. Jiayi and the rest had a farewell party for Juno, which was interrupted by alarms from the base of another martian storm. Jiayi held Juno's hand teary eyed as she boarded her ship. While Juno couldn't bring anyone with her, she kept a photo of Jiayi and her friend, [[Mei]], attached to her ship interior. <ref name="RedComic">2024-08-19 [[The Red Promise]].
