Joel Morricone is, in his own words, a "guest blogger, coffee drinker, white hat wearer, and pundit for hire." He wrote an article on a robbery attempt foiled by a stranger. He wanted to know whether the stranger was a self-appointed sheriff, and espoused the idea that such vigilantism should be welcomed, given the high crime rate.[1]
