Kiriko is the 12th animated short for Overwatch, and the third to tie-in with Overwatch 2. It premiered during the opening ceremony of TwitchCon 2022.

- This short features the song "BOW" by Japanese rapper MFS, the first use of licensed music in a piece of Overwatch tie-in media.
- Unlike in-game, There is no Fox Spirit when Kiriko uses Kitsune Rush on Akari and Mr. Yoshida.
- When Kiriko uses healing ofuda, she puts it on the skin. Rather than fluttering to the other player.
- Kiriko uses a healing ofuda on herself, which is unable in-game unless there is only a duplicate Kiriko.
- This is the second time Pompamoto suffers a worse fate under a Japanese defender. First is in Dragons in which Hanzo shoots his phone then bangs on the metal shrine bell.
