Story and Aftermath[]
Overwatch rescuing three waves of omnic citizens by escorting them to the ferry.
The new Overwatch team comes to Canada to recruit Sojourn, who led Overwatch, instead of Jack. At this time, Sojourn was preventing the invasion of Canada in a continuation of the cinematic 'Calling', and Cassady and Reinhardt found Sojourn and the Overwatch team reunited. The Overwatch team steps forward to help Sojourn.
Unlike the resistance where the military fighters are fighting fiercely against the Null Sector, in Toronto, the military has already been defeated by the Null Sector's offensive, and broadcasts urging them to leave the city as soon as possible resonate. A small group of civilians who had not escaped were abandoned and helpless, but the new Overwatch team cooperated with Sojourn, a militia fighter who wanted to remain alone until the end to protect the civilians, cover the evacuation of civilians from the overwhelming null sector troops, and isolated omnics. You have to rescue them and escape through the Ferry Terminal.
Starting from the dock, cover the escape route of the civilian omnics divided into three groups, evacuate them one by one to a private cruise ship, and meet Claire at King Street Station to rescue the omnic named Claire, who is isolated in the city center. Ride the subway, and join an omnic, a lawyer named Reggie, hiding inside the Queen Street Station subway train. The whole plot is escorting Claire and Reggie to Union Station, putting them on the Overwatch Dropship waiting in Central Park and dropping them off in a safe area.
While rescuing the omnics, they discover that the Null Sector has put a special device on the omnics to stop them from working. , leading to Ironclad.
Brigitte and Reinhardt took one of the Omnics to Ironclad Guild.

Trivia[]
- As of August, 2023, only 0.7% of Legendary difficulty attempts at the mission have been successful.[1]
- The canon events show that some of the heroes available for the mission are dispatched by Sojourn to other nearby locations. Only four are playable in a session; The four that are chosen as AI are: Winston or Zarya, Sojourn, Genji or Cassidy, and Mercy, Lúcio, or Brigitte. Any characters not picked are implied to be in the other locations Sojourn mentions.
- There are moments in the script that play out mostly the same every time you play, no matter which characters have been picked. For example, the Tank character will always tell Claire that fear is good, and come up with the term "Subjugators" instead of "brain-sucky things". The Damage character that isn't Sojourn will be the one to report on "movement in the subway car" (Reggie), and the Support character will always be the one to emphatically state that Claire and Reggie should not have guns during the final run to safety.
