Love of Geometry is a limited-time game mode for the Ultimate Valentine event. It was available from February 14 to February 28, 2023. It has since returned from February 14, 2024. The tagline for the game mode is "Team up with Cupid and scatter the competition."

Gameplay

Love of Geometry is a PvP Team Deathmatch brawl game mode that divides the players into two teams of four Cupid Hanzos. The brawl re-introduces Hanzo's Scatter Arrow ability from Overwatch 1 so new players are able "to experience Hanzo's love of geometry." Killing another player with Scatter Arrow awards the player's team with 2 kills. The first team to reach 50 kills, or has the most points when the 10-minute timer runs out, wins.

Also, killing yourself subtracts from the score, making it possible to have a negative score, and it is played solely on the Paris Deathmatch map.

Trivia

• This mode has been put into Overwatch twice.
• Love of Geometry has only ever been put into the game for Valentine's Day themed events. (Ex: Valentine's Day)
• When a Hanzo uses his ultimate, music starts playing.
