Name Cards are cosmetics that are on the background of a player's profile.
There are various ways to obtain Name Cards:
- They can be themed after Seasons and unlocked in the Battle Pass.
- Some cards are sold with bundles in the Shop and can be bought separately for
300. - And there are cards that can be gained by completing Challenges.
- They can be obtained through Twitch Drops.
- Pride cards are given for free by logging on during Pride.
Trivia[]
- In Season 5, Name cards from bundles in the Shop began to be associated to Heroes. This was seen with the hero icons appearing next to the name card in the bundle overview, as they typically do with most hero specific cosmetics.
- Some returning bundles in the Shop were given new unassociated name cards, such as "Medusa" and "Constellations".
- Starting Season 6, name cards were associated with Heroes in the Battle Pass, with the hero's name appearing under the card's name.
- Strangely, in the Season 4 battle pass there were associated name cards, but only for Lifeweaver.
- No Name Cards were associated/owned by Heroes in Season 9, neither from the Shop or Battle Pass.
- Despite Name Cards being associated by hero, they cannot be filtered by Hero like Player Icons can. This means there is no way to tell if a hero owns a certain Name Card in the career profile customization.
