  • The map appears to be based on a fictionalized mix of King, Queen, and Dundas Streets in the real-life city of Toronto.
  • The map was initially named "Toronto" when it was first announced at BlizzCon 2019. By March 2022, the map's name had been changed to "New Queen Street." It first became playable in the Overwatch 2 beta.[1]
    • The map forms part of the Liberation story mission.
    • The Toronto name can be seen across the map at the ice rink with the view at the top of the station near the Robot spawn point in rainbow color.
  • During Season 13, the map was updated to tease the upcoming tank hero. In the forward spawn of Team 1, holographic graffiti left by the Phreaks was sprawled across the walls.
