New York City is an upcoming Hybrid map in Overwatch and Overwatch 2.[1]
New York is a city on the eastern coast of the United States. It is home to the United Nations headquarters.[2] While Jack Morrison was a child, he and his mother visited a museum in New York.[3]

- Michael Chu has stated that he intended the temple Jack remembered visiting in "Bastet" to be the Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, though he says that Jack probably doesn't remember its name.[4]
- When designing the map, the developers used the art deco style of the 1920s and 50s. The map was designed to be "as authentic as possible," but with "an Overwatch spin on it."[1]
