Paris is the capital city of France. It was a site of civil unrest during the Omnic Crisis. At some point in the decades that followed, Paris was identified as a hotspot by Overwatch.

By the time of Overwatch's reactivation, Paris had suffered an attack that had left the EiFfel Tower severely damaged.
