Ryōta is one of the founders of the Yōkai and a busboy employed by Gozan Ramen. He uses his position to collect intel for the group by eavesdropping on dining members of the Hashimoto clan. He named the group, inspired by the ghosts of Japanese folklore, after Kiriko suggested they strike at the Hashimoto from the shadows rather than risk harming the citizens of Kanezaka by detonating their weapons shipments with stockpiled fireworks.[1]
