The omnics advance on Stuttgart
During the Omnic Crisis, Stuttgart was targeted by omnic forces, and an infantry of troops was sent to attack it. Stuttgart itself was protected by the Mountain Infantry Battalion.[1] The Crusaders, stationed at their headquarters in Eichenwalde, were able to hold back the invading omnics enough for the German military to claim victory.[2]
Years after the conflict, several destroyed SST Laboratories Bastion Siege Automaton E54s could still be found in the meadow surrounding Stuttgart. On one occasion, one such unit awoke from slumber, and briefly attempted to attack the city before gaining independence from its original programming, refusing the ancient order.[3]
