Summer Games is an annual seasonal event. The event features summer-themed cosmetics, and a limited-time game mode, Lúcioball.

Overwatch 2 Summer Games cosmetics can be bought through the Shop with Coins , or won by accomplishing limited time challenges.

Lúcioball

Main article: Lúcioball

Lúcioball is a special game mode based on soccer, which takes place on Estádio das Rãs, Sydney Harbour Arena and Busan Stadium. There are two teams of three Lúcios, with a modified moveset. The objective is to knock the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most points when the timer runs out wins. Both the brawl and its maps are exclusive to the Summer Games. In the 2020 version of the Summer Games, Lúcioball Remix was added as a separate mode that includes multiple balls in action, with bonus balls worth 3 points each.
