Well, since we're not allowed to edit... Suggestion to change "Landing Chain Hook on a setup Bastion will pull him out of setup mode" to "Landing Chain Hook on a sentry-mode Bastion will pull him out of sentry mode"

Done. Changed it to "Landing Chain Hook on Bastion in Sentry-mode will force it back to Recon" just not to be repetitive with words. --Krupam (talk)--

Since we're not allowed to edit... If timed correctly, "Take a Breather" can allow Roadhog to survive D.VA's self destruct, making him the only character to be able to do so without shielding

Broken <ref>[]

Just noting that while editing the source in the trivia section, I noticed there was a message in large red font saying that the in-site ref link after Roadhog's height/weight trivia was broken or something. I am still learning how to use reference links, so I'm asking if somebody more capable can check it out. --Gills97 (talk) 03:33, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Edit: It is also the same under Junkrat's height/weight trivia. Might have been done by the same user, and made the mistake twice. --Gills97 (talk) 04:47, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
When you edit a single section of a page, ref links that originate on the parts of the page you're not editing will be "gone" and the preview will show this with that error message. However, this is not really an issue as you are only seeing part of the page for that time you're editing it, so once you save everything is fine again. It's only a problem if the error is on the live page. - TheModster (talk) 05:57, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
Oh, alright then! That makes sense. Thanks a lot! --Gills97 (talk) 08:06, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Nationality[]

Roadhog being from New Zealand, by this point, is pretty intentional subtext. In my opinion, however, that isn't enough to declare it as his nationality in the infobox. For me, this comes down to the differences between ethnicity and nationality. Roadhog could very well be ethnically a New Zealander, but is an Australian national. So, listing his nationality as New Zealand would be similar to listing Reaper as Mexican instead of American. This is why I changed it back, at least until we get more info on Roadhog's personal history. For right now, his backstory depicts him as being an Australian national, so the infobox should reflect that. I'm very much against jumping the gun here and skipping right to identifying him as a New Zealander before it even comes up.

If anyone disagrees, please discuss it here instead of changing the infobox back and forth. - TheModster (talk) 02:34, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

In the trivia it mentions "wop wop" as a more New Zealander term. This is not the full thruth. You will hear Australians say "out in the middle of woop woop" more than "out in the sticks". Wikipeadia confirms this.

Rate Of Fire[]

Tested rate of fire by recording a 120 FPS video emptying the scrap gun. Going exactly frame by frame I found that it takes 2.8 seconds to fire all 5 rounds. (2:59 is the last frame with 5 rounds, 5:35 is the first frame with 0 rounds). Due to the first shot firing instantly, you only have to wait through 4 firing intervals to empty the rest of the weapon, meaning 2.8/4 = 0.7 second firing interval. To convert this to rate of fire, 1 / 0.7 ~= 1.43. Skwuruhl (talk) 11:15, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

One of the details of Roadhog's Take a Breather ability is incorrect, I imagine due to the old functionality of the ability; being that he couldn't move while utilizing it. "This is a channeled ability; Roadhog can only move while it's being used, and stuns can interrupt the healing effect." This would imply that he can't normally move, unless the ability is active. These two details should also probably be separated into two different points. The alternative I would propose is simply removing the point about movement, as being able to move while the ability is active would be the expected behavior.

Incorrect Date[]

Noticed that when listing the balance changes of Roadhog, the change of Whole Hog becoming a Transform ability has the wrong date attached. The date linked is to May 12th 2022, but the change was actually made in the previous patch on May 5th

Seems to now be fixed, thanks
You're welcome
