Toronto is a city in Canada and a playable map in the Liberation Story Mission.
Background[ | ]
The city is connected to the hyperloop line.[1]
History[ | ]
Omnic Crisis[ | ]
The city was besieged by Detroit omnium omnics during the Omnic Crisis.[2]
Null Sector[ | ]
Decades later, the city came under siege by Null Sector. Its forces began attacking the humans there, and abducting omnics that hadn't already gone rogue. In Null Sector's mind, their actions were a case of "liberating" omnics, and their attack on Toronto was meant to demonstrate that humans had treated omnics as servants for far too long. As a result of the attack, the city's subway system lost power.[3] Null Sector took control of most of the city, and began rounding up omnics.[4] Overwatch arrived to evacuate the humans and omnics from the city.[3]
