Underworld
Underworld was an event mission in Season 6.
Overview[ | ]
Underworld takes place in King's Row, though includes areas of the map not previously featured. In it, players must guide an armed TS-1 forward (similar to the mechanics of Push) to save Iggy and the Underworld from Null Sector. The mission includes new objectives and enemies.[1]

Invasion - Underworld - Kings Row (Ends in 18 days as of August 19th [September 5th End?])
Underworld - Save King's Row from Null Sector[ | ]
Available Characters: Winston, Torbjorn, Tracer, Lucio
- Leap, Soundwave, and Primal Rage can all be used to Knock back enemies to micro stun them or deal bonus stun if slammed into a wall. Primal rage and Soundwave are especially useful to free allies from the Stalker.
- Winston can shield Detonator explosions, but placement may be difficult to gauge.
Death from Above - Dodge Missile Strikes[ | ]
Available Characters: D.Va, Reinhardt, Genji, Soldier76, Brigitte, Mercy
In Death from Above mode, air strikes constantly target the heroes, with their targeting/impact zones marked with red circles. Air strikes have friendly fire and will also damage enemies in their area of effect.
- D.Va, Reinhardt, and Brigitte can all knock back the Stalker in order to free an ally from its grasp.
- The Detonator-like enemies can be booped back in a similar way to prevent detonation, they can also be body blocked to slow them down, or the explosion can be blocked by a Shield of angled properly.
- D.Va, Genji, Brigitte, and Reinhardt can all counter the Air strikes in the same manner they counter Bastion's Configuration: Artillery shells (For Genji, it is important to take a step back and make sure you are looking at least slightly up from your field of view, otherwise the shell will simply land on your head due to the shape of the deflect hitbox).
Ultimates Zones - Use Zones to Charge Ultimate Abilities[ | ]
Available Characters: Roadhog, Ashe, Cassidy, Junkrat, Baptiste, Moira
In Ultimate Zones mode, Ultimate charge will only increase while earning it (no passive charge) while standing in blue circular zones. However, all Ultimate charge earned in these zones is greatly increased.
- Roadhog can use Chain Hook to stun a Stalker out of its grasp attack.
- Cassidy and Junkrat can use Magnetic Grenade and Steel Trap to limit an enemy's movement.
- Roadhog, Ashe and Junkrat can use Chain Hook, Coach Gun and Concussive Mine to relocate enemies, and are especially effective against Detonators.
Invasion Mystery Heroes - Occasionally Swap to a Random Hero[ | ]
Available Characters: D.Va, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Winston, Zarya, Ashe, Bastion, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Junkrat, Mei, Pharah, Sojourn, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Tracer, Baptiste, Brigitte, Lucio, Mercy, Moira
In Invasion Mystery Heroes mode, heroes will randomly swap at set intervals. Players can only choose their starting hero for the first interval and Ultimate charge is kept between heroes. Aside from always having at least one Support, all heroes are chosen completely randomly with no regard to class role, and multiples of the same hero is allowed.
- Zarya, Bastion, Echo, Mei, Pharah, Sojourn and Moira are available for the first time on this variant of the Underworld mission.
