Re:Re: Vandalism[]

Thank you. Also, the anonymous user (who is different from the one you temp-blocked) had undone your revert edit on their inaccurate edit (Numbani page). Although lesser to the other user, I would like to request action if the user persists, as seen here https://overwatch.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Numbani&diff=next&oldid=73151 -Gills97 (talk) 03:04, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

Alive status[]

(Moving here to not take up room on Ana's page.) Should we add alive statuses to all the other heroes then?

I'd say yes. I wouldn't take it for granted that none of the heroes will ever be killed off Though I didn't get a very concrete answer, either.. Seeing that in all other Blizzard games namely WoW, HotS, Hearthstone AFAIK there's a lot of deceased characters that are available in the game and that in Overwatch the in-game matches are very strictly non-canon, I wouldn't be surprised if a hero was killed off and still playable.
There's only the issue with characters like Reaper who isn't really alive, is he or Bastion and Zenyatta who're machines. I kinda think we should use "Active" instead of "Alive".--Krupam (talk)--

That makes sense. While I do agree with what you're saying, to me at least there doesn't seem to be a conflict. The fact that the Crisis takes place 25 years ago give or take a few years places it directly in the middle of the ten-year conflict. It saying Overwatch's influence beginning to wane roughly twenty years ago also makes sense, as that's when the war ended and Overwatch was at peace. Since it was disbanded roughly five years before the game, it would seem that in the twenty years since the end of the war and the start of the game, Overwatch was slowly falling apart even at the zenith of its influence. It just took 15 years since the end of the war and five years before the game to do so.

If any thing, it seems like the biggest source of confusion for people is thinking of the game and all its dates not from what year we're in our real world, but from a fictional date sometime in the future (and a date that hasn't even been given, at that). Thus, Overwatch lore is told mostly from a standpoint looking back at the past, which is our real-world present. However, I understand what you're saying, and will refrain from giving exact dates until Blizzard clears up its timeline mess. I'll leave that to the trivia section for now. Joel Morricone/Jesse McCree[]

There are too many similarities for this not to at least be a reference of some sort, but if you would rather not have any speculation here that is fair.

The self-destruct ability hasn't been seen in canon lore.

idk how this thing works, but the doomfist primary fire reload time is actually .8 seconds it takes .333sec for firing a consecutive shot(20 frames) .8sec for reloading (48 frames)
