Welcome to my talk page!
I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. Please don't take offense if it takes a few hours, or even a few days. I can get awfully busy sometimes. Please leave a message aver the *boop!* Minister Boots (talk) 23:40, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
The idea of the Omnic Crisis lasting ten years did enter my head when going through the pages. However, as pointed out, thirty years seems to be the norm, and if it really was a ten year conflict, we should have seen the twenty years figure before now. Going over the Overwatch (group) page, we know that Overwatch began to wane twenty years after its founding, and was shut down five years before the events of the game. That timeframe falls short of thirty years.
That said, I've gone over the Overwatch page, and apparently the war took place 25 years before the events of the game, "give or take a few years," so it seems that Blizzard can't or won't commit to a date, and the different timeframes are systemic of that. Anyway, I've added his comments to the Omnic Crisis page, but I'd be wary of using anything other than "decades" to give a timeframe for now.--Hawki (talk) 06:12, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
