Yoshida is a handyman who resides in Kanezaka.
Story[ | ]
Yoshida is a friend of Kiriko Kamori, and works in the apartment block she resides in. He is aware of Kiriko's strained relationship with her mother. His granddaughter is also acquainted with her. He is fluent in Japanese Sign Language.[1]
Encounter with the Hashimoto[ | ]
On the day of the Fox Festival, Yoshida's granddaughter came to work with him in the apartment block. They met Kiriko, who'd returned with Fox Festival donuts. Gifts and pleasantries were exchanged before Kiriko entered her apartment. Not long afterwards, however, Hashimoto enforcers confronted Yoshida, telling him that his son owed them money. He told them what he'd said before, that he didn't know where his son was, but the enforcers weren't having it, striking him.
The 'interogation' was interrupted by Kiriko, who teleported into the hallway and began to tear through the enforcers. Yoshida shielded his granddaughter as the blades and bullets flew, but during the fight, one of them tore his granddaughter from his arms, to use as a human shield. Yoshida got to his feet, trying to save her, but was hit by a stray bullet, killing (or at least severely wounding) him.
Kiriko revived Yoshida using a healing ofuda and went all out. Kiriko, Yoshida, and his granddaughter chased the Hashimoto into the elevator, causing them to retreat. Yoshida and his granddaughter hugged, and he thanked Kiriko for her help.[1]
